This international technical webinar is part of the series organized by the FAO elearning Academy, Agreenium (French training and research alliance for agriculture, food, environment and global health), UN-ESCAP (United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific), and Future Food Institute. It is also part of the series Bridging the knowledge gap on the holistic risk management approach in developing countries, organized together with the Platform for Agricultural Risk Management (PARM) and the Forum for Agricultural Risk Management in Development (FARM-D) - which are hosted by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) 

Objective of the session:

  • Provide an overview of strategies and tools to manage risk in agriculture, and how to select them
  • Explain the role of key stakeholders in the formulation and implementation of empowering strategies
  • Present different designs and modalities for strengthening ARM capacity at different levels
